Obituary For Cooper Whitmore

Cooper, beloved companion and cherished member of the family, peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of June 8th, 2024. He was 16 years old, with a heart full of love and a spirit that brightened every room he entered. Cooper would have turned 17 in August, a testament to his enduring presence in the lives of those who loved him.

Cooper came into this world on August 27, 2007 as a furry bundle of joy and grew into a loyal and affectionate friend over the years. From his humble beginnings, he shared an inseparable bond with his mama, Erica, who welcomed him into her heart when she was in 2nd grade. Throughout his life, Cooper exhibited remarkable qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. He was intelligent, sweet, gentle, caring, and endlessly playful, with a personality that filled every moment with warmth and joy.

Among his many loves, Cooper had a special fondness for soft, fluffy blankets—nestling himself into their warmth brought him unparalleled comfort and happiness. He also had a voracious appetite for popcorn, pup cups, and any delectable treats within reach, often amusing his family with his enthusiastic indulgence in culinary delights.

In his later years, Cooper's playful antics may have slowed, but his spirit remained as vibrant as ever. He would wander the halls of his home, affectionately dubbed "making his rounds," ensuring the safety and security of his beloved family. His presence was a constant source of reassurance and love, a steadfast companion through life's journey.

Cooper leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished forever. He is survived by his devoted mama, Erica, his loving siblings, Bella and T'Challa, his Uncle Luke, his grandmother, Donna, and his great-great Aunt Carol.

Though he may no longer be by their side, Cooper's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, dear Cooper. You were, and always will be, the best dog a girl could've asked for.
