Obituary For Derek Hunter

Derek was adopted from the Richmond SPCA in Richmond, VA in July 2020, and he brought joy to everyone’s heart. His favorite things included the color pink, perching atop kitchen cabinets and snuggling on the couch with a good TV show in the background. He was as compassionate as he was curious, and as friendly as he was playful. He’s loved by his mommy, Kenya, and so many people from Virginia to Atlanta.

You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Derek. Thank you so much for sharing some of his story. I can see he meant a lot to you😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Derek.
