Obituary For Lucy Messer

Lucy came to live with me and my family as a result of a very dear friend went in for surgery of her shoulder and ended up having complications and passed away during surgery. Lucy had never been away from Carol Allen her entire life so I figured she would grieve herself to death, however Lucy adapted fine being we had adopted one of her grandchildren pup's (Stormy) Lucy adopted us as her humans. She lived a very peaceful life with us. She would let the family know when I got closer to the house she would start barking and wouldn't stop until she was in my arm's after I got off work or was just gone for a couple hours. Lucy was very much a important part of our family and she will be missed more than words can express. I still don't know what drove Lucy to live for so many years 26 years is extremely a long time in the life of a Chihuahua. I can only hope she's in Carol's arm's now. I will never forget the love we shared. A part of my heart went with Lucy but I know one-day God will allow me to see her again. Until then rest in peace Lucy my love will forever be yours. You will forever be missed. I love you and miss you. Until we meet again.

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Lucy. Thank you so much for sharing some of her incredible story. And thank you so much for taking care of her after Carol's passing. I am sure that meant a lot to heršŸ˜Š. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Lucy.
