Obituary For Onyx Eric Boynton-Johnson

Onyx Eric Boynton-Johnson “Papa” crossed the rainbow bridge March 1st 2024 peacefully in the arms of his moms. Onyx was rescued by his mommy Kamaria and later adopted by his loving mama Alexis. Onyx’s favorite activities included lots of snoozing, walks, play time with his sister Kali, snacking on something sweet, enjoying a juicy steak and licking his own paws religiously. Onyx loved car rides and “driving” with his moms. He loved to go to his grannies house to play with all his cousins, and swimming for granny. More than anything Onyx loved his moms. He grew an undeniable love and obsession with his mama Alexis. He was always sitting right up under her at any given moment. Onyx was good at a lot of things but he was the best at unconditional love. Onyx is survived by both of his parents Kamaria and Alexis, his only sister Kali, Grandparents Leah, Michelle, Karlace and Dionne, 5 aunts and 3 uncles, and 6 fur cousins. Proceeded in his death by his Grandfather Rodney Eric Boynton. Onyx lost his battle to his big heart, but he was brave and a fighter. His last days were filled with love. Onyx will forever be in our hearts. We love you Sweet boy, forever 11.

Onyx was granny sweet boy. I fell in love with him the moment we met. We such a special bond that sometimes he refused to go home after spending time with me. My favorite memory was him singing while his Aunt Laila played the violin.. Thank you Onyx for all the love and joy that you brought to our family. You will forever live in our hearts.

Onyx was such a sweetheart. The Beasley family didn't know him long but could tell he provided your family with the upmost and unconditional love and doggy support. Praying for you all during this time.

Onyx will forever be missed! He was a great cuddler! Whenever he heard live instruments, he would sing and howl right along with the music.
