Ophelia- Our Hawaii Kitty.

Ophelia or just ”kitty” as my daughter always called her was my husband and I’s first fur baby. I remember the day I brought her home. Someone found her in a dumpster in Kailua, Hawaii where we were stationed and I fell in love with her the second I saw her photo. She was the most loving and calm kitty. All she ever wanted to do was lay with you and get scratches. Her favorite thing in the world was to curl up under the sheets and sleep snuggled along side of you. She loved to sneak in the laundry basket of clean warm clothes. She was the most perfect cat. She was along side me through many good and bad times. Many months of my husband being gone. A deployment. A pregnancy. 5 moves. Our kids loved her. Three years we got to love her. We got the joy her snuggles brought at the end of the day. There won’t be a day she won’t be missed. She left foot prints on our hearts.

We love you our sweet Hawaiian kitty. So much. I hope your snuggled up with all the other kitties in heaven.
