Obituary For Phoenix Arizona Johnson

Phoenix Arizona Johnson was born March 25, 2007, to his canine parents, Nadia and Sebastian Popo, in Charlotte, NC. At the age of six weeks, he was lovely adopted by his human family who loved and adored him.

Phoenix loved to go on long walks, run, sniff flowers, play with socks, roll in the grass, sunbathe, and sit by the fireplace.

Some of his favorite snacks were Chick-fil-A fries, watermelon, cheerios, green beans, and dog treats.

Phoenix was loved by soooo many extended family members and friends and quickly became the “village dog”.

He departed this earth on November 18, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was so loved and will be greatly missed.

It was so cool seeing Phoenix again for the first time in years. It was like he remembered me. That was my buddy for sure. I'm so going to miss posts about his antics.

We miss you Phoenix. Me and my dad met you when we first moved to the neighborhood. My dad loved dogs and enjoyed seeing you when we saw you outside walking. I can not forget how you motivated me to walk while pregnant and you would stop at every tree, which gave me a break to rest for a couple seconds. Then you met baby Mason, you were the first dog Mason ever saw and he was not afraid because you were so gentle and kind. We miss you Phoenix. Mallie and Mason

To The Johnson Family ...Your treasured friend, Phoenix, has blessed your lives, and given you more love than we ever knew possible. May fond memories of Phoenix bring peace and comfort to you. We remember during our last visit, Phoenix was excited about jumping into our laps - not only to check us out, but to see how well we could cuddle him 😉 We are so sorry for your loss, but happy to know you have so many fond memories to cherish. Rest In Peace Phoenix!! Keith & Linda Berry

I feel in love with Phoenix July 2022, my first time interacting with him. Phoenix impressed my 6 yr old granddaughter so much until she isn't as fearful of dogs, she even took a picture with him. She convinced her brother (my grandson) to get a stuffed dog that looks just like Phoenix☺️thanks Phoenix !
