Obituary For Riley Kendall

Riley, my sweet little companion for almost 14 years, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday. I got him when he was five months old, and am forever grateful that I got to spend so much time cuddling, adventuring, playing, and loving with such a sweet soul. Riley didn’t have a mean bone in his body, unless you were a squirrel, a knock on the door, or a falling leaf: then, all bets were off! He was adorably feisty, and if he got irritated, he’d give you a hilarious curled lip we called the “attitude poochy face,” lol. His odd obsessions included licking ears and feet, eating empty toilet paper rolls, and watching for animals on TV that he could furiously bark at. If he was on a bed or couch, he needed a cushion ON the bed or couch to sleep on, of course.
He was loved by all who met him, including his kitty brother Boris, doggy brother Tucker, and human daddy, Todd. I always expected it would be his huge heart that would eventually give out, but sadly it ended up being cancer instead. Fortunately he spent his last moments surrounded by love, pets, and lots of peanut butter. I will forever miss my handsome, soft, sweet baby Boo.
