Who would ever think a trip to Walmart in 2011 would bring our family the best present ever? We called her our “Walmart baby.” Someone was giving dogs away and Samantha was the last to go. Once our daughter (Nia, in 3rd grade) held her and she was ours forever. Love at first sight! Samantha traveled all over with the family. Samantha was our late mother’s (Ruthie) best friend. She loved the beach, going on long walks, and just relaxing. Samantha showed so much love when you came in the door. Samantha was so loved that we shared her with her “God Mommy” (Nicole Jenkins and her Family). This was her “vacation” home. Home away from home! Samantha had a sassy way of walking, so we said she was a “Diva”! Samantha wore her pearls all the time, even when she passed. She transitioned to the rainbow bridge on 10/1/2024. Samantha touched everyone’s hearts she spent time with. Her loving eyes and her kind ways will always be loved and missed.

Thank you, Samantha, for bringing so much joy into our lives. You will never be forgotten. You will always be in our hearts.
