Obituary For Stitch Nesbit

We said Goodbye to Stitch this morning. We had almost a decade together ❤ I'm so grateful for the years we got with him and that his life ended up so much happier than it was when we rescued him. He was my baby- I fought from another country to rescue him and saved him from imminent death 9+ years ago. Before we found him he survived being hit by a car. He survived being a bait dog. He survived the cruelest abuse you can imagine. He survived heartworms and starvation. I'm honored I got to be his sanctuary. I'm so grateful to him for loving me and teaching me all the awesome stuff he knew ❤ 🐾 My husband and I, Stitch's human sister, Kylie and Stitch's 2 doggie brothers will miss him terribly as will his 7 cat siblings. Good night my gentle giant. We love you.

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Stitch. Thank you so much for sharing some of his story. I can see he meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a handsome boy 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Stitch.

Stitch, I miss you more than I can put into words. I'm completely heartbroken that I will never be able to pet you, feel you nuzzle up to me or get excited when I come home. I truly hope that there is an afterlife and that I meet you again at the rainbow bridge. Rest in peace my Bubba, you're pain is over.
